Sugar prices continued to decline at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today due to lower offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid huge stocks position following persistent supplies from mills and prices fell by another Rs 15 per quintal.
Marketmen attributed persistent fall in the sweetener prices which dropped to multi-year lows to ample stocks following supply pressure from millers against slackened demand from bulk consumers including soft-drink and ice-cream makers.
