Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today impressed upon youth to vote for BJP-led NDA, of which his SAD is a part, in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a youth rally near Kharar here, Sukhbir said keeping in view the deteriorating financial condition of the nation, it was inevitable that a major change was required in the social polity of India, and urged the youth to ensure Narendra Modi's victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
The Deputy Chief Minister alleged that UPA government had failed to give any direction to youth who were demoralised by rampant corruption and lack of employment opportunities, and asked them to bring NDA to power at the Centre.
"People will witness massive and unprecedented growth in every sector in the coming two years," Sukhbir said, adding that an amount of Rs 15,000 crore would be spent on strengthening the road network in the state.
