SAD today exuded confidence that the Akali-BJP combine would win all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in the Punjab with a thumping majority in the coming general elections.
Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the poll office of Ludhiana candidate Manpreet Singh Ayali in Sarabha Nagar here, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal said Congress was on its way out and would not be able to win more than 65 seats in the whole country.
He took a dig at current Ludhiana MP and Union Minister Manish Tewari for dithering on the choice of constituency.

"Why should he think of running away from Ludhiana from where he had won with a huge margin in 2009," Sukhbir asked and said "It is not good to desert friends in adversity."
Taunting Tewari, he said it was only after the Congress Election Committee's (CEC) refusal to accept his candidature from Karnal and Chandigarh that he was forced to contest from Ludhiana where he has already lost half race.
On his cousin and PPP chief Manpreet Singh Badal's move in ally with Congress and contest Bathinda Lok Sabha seat against his wife Harsimrat Kaur, Sukhbir termed it as "a union of a handicapped person with a defective stick".
"Every seat in Punjab is a Bathinda for us where we shall give them a crushing defeat," he said.
