It was a sultry day in the national capital today, with the minimum temperature settling at 26.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, while some parts of the city also received rainfall.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
Humidity oscillated between 95 and 70 per cent.
The Safdarjung observatory recorded 1.8 mm rainfall overnight, but no rainfall till 5.30 pm.
The rainfall received by the Palam observatory was 0.4mm, 1.8 mm and 4.8 mm till 5.30 pm.
The skies will remain generally cloudy tomorrow with moderate rain/thundershowers likely to occur, said a Meteorological (MeT) department official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 32 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
