Sultry day in Delhi, light rains likely tomorrow

It was a sultry day in the national capital with the maximum temperature at 36.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

The minimum temperature settled at 26.6 degrees, normal for this time of the year, said a Met department official.

The humidity oscillated between 90 and 58 per cent.

The Met office has forecast generally cloudy skies along with the possibility of light rains and thundershowers for tomorrow.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 36 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively," the weatherman said.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 35.7 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
