Hot, sultry conditions prevailed in the national capital today as the maximum temperature settled at 37.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal.
The minimum was recorded at 28.3 degrees, three notches above the season's average, a MeT department official said, adding that humidity in air oscillated between 48 and 78 per cent.
The weatherman predicted partly cloudy skies tomorrow, but ruled out any possibility of rainfall.

The maximum yesterday was at 38 degrees, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum was recorded at 27.5 degrees, two notches above normal.
