Former Deputy CAG Suman Saxena today took charge as whole time member of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
She would look after research and regulation wing apart from national insolvency programme, continuing professional programme as well as knowledge management and partnership, an official release said.
The research and regulation focuses on corporate insolvency, corporate liquidation, individual insolvency, individual bankruptcy besides research and publications, data management, dissemination and advocacy.

According to the release, her last assignment was Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General.
Currently, the board of IBBI -- set up under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code -- has five members including Chairman M S Sahoo.
Others are Ajay Tyagi, Additional Secretary at the Department of Economic Affairs, Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Joint Secretary at the Corporate Affairs Ministry, G S Yadav, Joint Secretary at the Department of Legal Affairs and A Unnikrishnan, Legal Adviser at the RBI, as per IBBI website.
The Code seeks to consolidate and amend laws relating to reorganisation and insolvency resolution of corporate persons, partnership firms and individuals in a time-bound manner.
