Sun brings relief but cold conditions prevail in Bihar

Though the temperature dipped down by a few notches today, bright sunshine made the weather comfortable here and in other parts of Bihar.

Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 11.6 degrees Celsius in comparison to 13.3 degrees Celsius yesterday, according to state Met office.

There was not much change in the maximum temperature in the city which stayed at 24.9 degrees Celsius as compared to 24.6 yesterday.

Majority of the schools in the state also reopened today after the winter vacation.

Purnea remained the coldest place in Bihar with the mercury at 8.2 degrees Celsius, it said.

In Gaya, the minimum temperature was 12 degrees Celsius and the maximum was recorded at 23.4 degrees Celsius.
 

Bhagalpur recorded a minimum of 11.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature settled 24.4 degrees Celsius.

The MeT office forecast fog/mist in the morning tomorrow and mainly clear sky later.
