Industrialists Sunil Bharti Mittal and Pawan Munjal were conferred honorary Doctorate of Science by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University today.
Mittar is the chairman and founder of Bharti Enterprises and Munjal is the CEO of Hero Moto Corp.
The honorary degrees were presented by Chancellor and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir N N Vohra at the 6th Convocation of the university.
President Ram Nath Kovind was the chief guest at the convocation.
At the convocation, 882 students were awarded degrees in various disciplines including 439 graduate degrees, 427 masters degrees, 16 PhDs and 26 medals.
