Sunita Williams to vote from space

46-year-old NASA astronaut Williams, Russian Soyuz Commander Yuri Malenchenko and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency flight engineer Akihiko Hoshide today took off their space journey on a Russian Soyuz rocket, which blasted off successfully from Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Williams is scheduled to return to earth on November 12. Day for voting for the US president is November 6. So she will be casting her vote in the election through NASA's special programme called 'Voting from Space'.

"We'll, there's a programme called Voting from Space, we're working through it right now. I'm a, actually a Florida voter so it, we had to have a little bit more work involved
