It was another sunny day in the national capital today with the mercury settling at 39 degrees Celsius.
"The maximum temperature was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius today, normal for this time of the year while the minimum had settled at 23.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal," a MeT official said.
The humidity level oscillated between 64 and 20 per cent.
While 1.8 mm rainfall was recorded overnight, the city did not receive any rainfall during the day.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day tomorrow with the possibility of mercury touching 40 degrees Celsius.
