It was a sunny day in the national capital with the mercury settling two notches above normal for this time of the year.
"The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum temperature settled at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal," a MeT official said.
Humidity levels osscilated between 84 and 41 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day tomorrow with possibility of mercury settling around 36 degrees Celsius.
"The skies are expected to remain clear. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures had settled at 35.6 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
