Bright sunshine in the day followed in the wake of light rainfall in the early morning as the national capital today experienced pleasant weather amidst a rise in the mercury.
The maximum temperature settled four notches above normal at 29.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded seven notches higher than the season's average at 18.5 degrees, the MeT department said.
Humidity in air oscillated between 58 and 96 per cent.

The Safdarjung observatory, which provides the official reading for the city, recorded 1.8-mm rainfall till 8.30 AM while areas under the Palam, Lodhi Road, Ayanagar and Ridge stations received 5.7-mm, 2.6-mm, 0.4-mm and trace rainfall, respectively.
The MeT department has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.
"The skies will be clear tomorrow. There will be mist or shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum is expected to hover at 29 and 18 degrees, respectively," the weatherman said.
