A sunny day prevailed across most of Bihar today with the maximum temperature being recorded at about 34 degrees Celsius at most places, the MeT office said.
Patna, Gaya and Purnea recorded day temperature in excess of 34 degrees Celsius, while Bhagalpur registered a maximum temperature of 33.8 degrees Celsius, it said.
Gaya and Bhagalpur each recorded humidity level at 78 per cent, while the same at Patna and Purnea stood at 77 per cent and 69 per cent respectively.
Bhagalpur logged 19.4 mm rainfall during the day, while Purnea recorded 2.1 mm rainfall followed by Patna (0.5 mm) and Gaya (0.2 mm).
The MeT department has forecast a generally cloudy sky with light rain or thunder over the next 24 hours.
