Sunny day in Patna; light rainfall in Gaya

Residents of Bihar and other parts of the state enjoyed a good sunny day today while south central part of the region witnessed a very light rainfall at one or two places.

The Patna Meteorological Centre has forecast foggy and misty morning that would be followed by partly cloudy sky later tomorrow in major cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.

As per the MeT bulletin, Patna had a minimum temperature of 13.6 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 11.6 degrees Celsius.

Patna recorded the highest maximum temperature at 25.6 degrees Celsius among major cities of the state which was 24.9 degrees Celsius yesterday.
 

Patna is expected to witness a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius while the minimum may be around 13 degrees Celsius tomorrow.

Gaya recorded the highest maximum temperature of 24.1 degrees Celsius while its minimum temperature registered at 14.7 degrees Celsius, MeT office said.

Gaya registered a 2.4 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours while Bhagalpur witnessed a trace, it said.

Bhagalpur had a maximum of 24.6 degrees Celsius and its minimum was clocked at 15.7 degrees Celsius, it said.

Similarly, Purnea registered a maximum temperature of 23.8 degrees Celsius and minimum of 12.4 degree Celsius.

The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius in Forbesganj in Araria district, the MeT office said.
