It was sunny and cloudy in patches in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 12.5 degrees Celsius, even as the MeT forecast rains in some areas of the city tomorrow.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 25.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, said a MeT department official.
The visibility was recorded at 800 metres at 5:30 AM. Three hours later, it dropped to 500 metres. The visibility improved significantly to 1,000 metres at 11.30 AM, he said.

The MeT office has forecast generally cloudy skies for tomorrow with the likelihood of light rains and thunderstorms in some areas.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Light rain and thundershowers are likely in the morning while moderate rainfall may occur towards afternoon till night.
"Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 and 13 degrees Celsius respectively tomorrow," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 25.6 degrees and 10 degrees Celsius respectively.
