Sunny weather for next two-three days: MeT

The Patna Meteorological Centre forecast a sunny weather for the next two-three days with the possibility of a decline of minimum temperature by one degrees in the state capital.

"There is no possibility of any change in prevailing sunny weather conditions in major parts of the state. North westerly and dry and cold wind is blowing in the state... It is expected that minimum temperature may witness decline by one degrees Celsius in Patna in next one or two days," a MeT official said.

According to the MeT bulletin, the maximum temperature of Patna was recorded at 25.0 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 25.7 degrees Celsius.
 

The minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 11.6 degrees Celsius.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 25 and 11 degrees respectively in the state capital, the MeT official said, adding both maximum and minimum temperature in Patna is hovering around one degree (+/-) of normal temperature.

Patna's normal maximum temperature is 24 degrees while its normal minimum temperature is 10 degrees.

Bhagalpur and Purnea are expected to register 25 degrees Celsius tomorrow while Gaya is likely to witness maximum temperature at 24 degrees Celsius.

Gaya recorded a low of 9.8 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 23.7 degrees Celsius, it said.

Bhagalpur had the minimum of 13.6 degrees Celsius and maximum of 25.4, while Purnea registered minimum of 11.5 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 24.4 degrees Celsius today.

The lowest temperature of 9 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sabour in Bhagalpur district today, the Met office said.
