'Super 30' will not take any honorarium from the state government for the purpose, the official said.
The move was initiated by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in January last year when some underprivileged meritorious boys from the state secured admission in IITs and they conveyed the hardships that they endured to him.
Acting on the Akhilesh's initiative, state government made Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Muthukumar Swami the nodal officer to execute the plan while the education department appointed Deputy Director Vikas Srivastava in this connection.
Srivastava went to Patna and held talks with Kumar.
'Super 30', has been providing free coaching classes to IIT aspirants from Bihar for the past 11 years. It hunts for 30 meritorious talents from the economically backward sections of the society and trains them for the IIT-JEE.
