PWF is an an alternative "to the (over) 40-year alternate rule of the AIADMK and DMK, which is responsible for the poverty and anguish of the people of Tamil Nadu," the resolution said.
"For the sake of harvest of votes, freebies were showered (by AIADMK and DMK), and liquor outlets were opened ruining the lives of the people."
Stating that the front was cobbled up with the goal of bringing about "a graft-free, and prosperous Tamil Nadu," the front took a swipe at the Congress for its "diabolical" economic policies and lambasted the BJP as a "communal" force.
PWF blamed the two prinicipal national parties for "a decline in farm and industrial sectors (through their policies)."
The meet also strongly criticised the Ramadoss-led Pattali Makkal Katchi as indulging in "caste politics." For such reasons, all these parties should be eschewed and people should come forward to support the PWF, it appealed.
