NCP MP Supriya Sule today demanded special fund for implementing the 'Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana' launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"There should be special fund for implementing the plan. If development works are concentrated in a single village other areas of the constituency will get neglected," the Baramati MP said while addressing a function at a local college.

Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) was initiated to bring MPs of all the political parties under the same umbrella while taking the responsibility of developing physical and institutional infrastructure in villages and turn them into model villages.

Sule also alleged that BJP-led Maharashtra government has failed to provide any relief to farmers who are reeling under drought in various parts of the state.
