Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has said the surgical strikes by India in PoK has created an environment of patriotism and the nation stands by the Armed forces which are giving befitting reply to Pakistan.
"Because of the armed forces, the citizens are having peaceful nights," he said addressing IAF personnel and their family members in a Diwali Milan Samaroh at the Air Force Station here last night.
The Minister of State for Finance said he was feeling proud to be with the IAF personnel on Diwali.
"The government has fulfilled the demands of One-Rank-One Pension and would address the other demands also," he said.
IAF Group Captain Harish Garg said the Air Force is fully capable of meeting any challenge.
