Surrendered Naxal found murdered in Sukma district of C'garh

Naxals allegedly killedtheirformer colleague who had recently surrendered in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Sukma district, police said.

Madvi Joga (35) who had surrendered before CRPF officials recently was found murdered in the forest between Jaimer and Pratapgiri villages under Tongpal police station limits this morning, Sukma Additional Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla told PTI.

As per the preliminary information, Joga, a native of Jaimer, was abducted by the ultras three-four days ago from his village, located around 450 km from Raipur, the ASP said.

Villagers found his body in a pool of blood today.

He seemed to have been killed with sharp-edged weapons, Shukla said, adding that police were looking for the assailants.
