A surrendered militant of the United Democratic Liberation Army (UDLA) was kidnapped from his house.
According to police officers, surrendered UDLA cadre Naresh Reang (40) was kidnapped from his house at Monafi village in Cheragi under Karimganj district last night.
Reang's wife has filed an FIR and investigation was on to rescue him, the police said.
According to Naresh's wife Modyanti Reang, a group of ten militants with sophisticated weapons kidnapped her husband from the house.
