Survey on street vendors in Haryana

Haryana government would conduct a survey to study the need of street vendors and hawkers to identify areas where vending activities would be carried out.

The Town Vending Committee (TVC) would conduct a survey within three months of the commencement of the policy, within their respective areas to study the need of the vendors and the hawkers, an official release said here today.

The TVC would prepare scheme along with plans and maps showing sites, plots, roads and areas for vending activities based on the survey and analysis, it said adding all existing street vendors and hawkers in the municipality will be issued identity card within 30 days of submission of the application.
 

The registration will be valid for 5 years with one-time fee of Rs 100, it said.
