Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar today attacked former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for allegedly using government apparatus and officials and questioned his authority to avail the facilities saying "he should not have resigned if he had so much lust for power".
Modi pointed out that Kumar had visited Nalanda recently and secretaries of six government departments had accompanied him.
"The convoy of the former Chief Minister had around 50 cars and it went with all VVIP status. I want to know who has given him the authority to avail the facilities of the government while moving around on personal visits," Modi told reporters on the sidelines of his Janata Darbar.

Modi, the former Deputy Chief Minister and currently the Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council, lambasted Kumar for showing lust for VVIP trappings.
"Kumar has got the biggest bungalow in the state for himself after leaving 1, Anne Marg, the official residence of Chief Minister. It is being renovated further according to his wishes and has also got four rooms reserved at the Bihar Bhawan for his use," Modi said.
The BJP leader alleged that Rs 50 lakh was being spent to renovate and refurbish the Bihar Bhawan rooms according to Kumar's taste.
I wonder why he resigned if he had such lust for power. He should have continued as the CM. He keeps giving instructions to government officials without even thinking that he is just a former CM and has no right to do so, Modi added.
Senior BJP leader had already hinted at the involvement of Kumar in the medicine and medical equipment purchase scam in the state, and has been demanding CBI enquiry to nail down the culprits.
The acrimony between Modi, who is the face of BJP in Bihar, and Kumar increased after JD(U), RJD and Congress formed a grand alliance and won six out of ten Assembly seats in the by-elections in August. BJP and its NDA allies fared poorly by winning just four seats.
