External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Bangladesh towards the end of this month to attend a joint consultative commission meeting in Dhaka.
Swaraj's two-day visit comes at a time when Bangladesh is receiving hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees in view of the Myanmar military crackdown against them in Rakhine state.
The minister would be in Dhaka for the meeting scheduled for October 23 and 24, Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque today confirmed during a briefing at the Bangladesh High Commission.
