Suspected Bangladeshi youth arrested from Roorkee

A suspected Bangladeshi youth was arrested from Roorkee railway station in Haridwar district today.

The youth was arrested for travelling without a passport from Roorkee railway station, Haridwar police special cell Inspector Subhash Tyagi said.

Preliminary interrogation showed that the 21-year-old youth, identified as Mohammad Rasul Mulla hailing from Khulna district in Bangladesh, entered India four days ago from across the border in North Dinajpur without proper travel documents and reached Roorkee via Kolkata and Ludhiana in Punjab, Tyagi said.
