A 12-year-old student died while six others were taken ill after eating meals at their educational institute here, a social welfare department officer said.
Ravi Dohre, a Class IV student of Ashram Pathdhati Intermediate College, was taken ill and later declared dead by the doctors at the district hospital, district social welfare officer N K Gupta said.
He said later six more students complained of stomach ache and vomiting after which they were admitted to the hospital by Principal K K Yadav.

Chief Medical Officer Agnihotri said the children showed symptoms of food poisoning.
District Magistrate Nitin Bansal has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
Junior Finance Guru is a one-of-its kind program for
