Suspected Maoists set fire on contractor's camp in Odisha

Suspected Maoist ultras set ablaze at least four machines used for road construction of a contractor firm in Odisha's Bargarh district today, police said.

The incident took place last night when the employees of one Pragati Construction were taking rest at their camp in Lakhanpur area under Ambabhona police station, they said, adding that the miscreants, suspected to be Maoists, also set four machines on fire.

The company was engaged in the construction of two roads from Hatikhoja to Khula and Lakhanpur to Udaypali, police said.
