A suspected rhino poacher was killed in an encounter with forest guards in Sonitpur district, a Forest Department official said today.
The poacher was killed at Petulibari under Biswanath police station last night, the official said.
The forest guards have recovered one revolver, three rounds of live cartridges and a motorcycle from the spot, the official added.
