Suspecting wife's fidelity, man kills son

Suspecting wife's fidelity, a man killed his two-and-a-half-year old son in Malikpura village of the district, police said today.

Harish Kumar Jangid was murdered yesterday by his father Mukesh Jangid (32) while other family members were at the field, Krishan Kumar Gadwal, SHO Deikheda police station said.

The victim was found dead in a corner in his hut by the family members, the SHO said.

A case has been registered under section 302 of IPC following a complaint by the victim's grandfather, Hanuman Jangid, adding, the accused has been arrested and has confessed to the crime.

According to the police, Mukesh was not in good terms with his wife and was suspicious of her character following which he killed his son while his wife had gone to her parents house.
 

The body has been handed to the family today after postmortem, Gadwal said, adding, investigations are underway.
