Blaming both Congress and BJP governments, Sushant said the magnitude of irregularities was no less than 2G scam and it must be probed by an independent agency like CBI.

He alleged that "while the Congress government allowed omissions and irregularities to be committed, the BJP government was benevolent enough to regularise the same by imposing a token fine".

The High Court has severely indicted JAL and also the government officials and even constituted a special Investigation Team (SIT) to enquire into complicity of officials in allowing the irregularities and illegalities.

Speaking to mediapersons, Sushant, who represents Kangra, also demanded resignation of Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and the ministers concerned on moral grounds to facilitate free and impartial probe and threatened to launch an agitation in case they did not quit within 15 days.

The suspended BJP MP also asked the government to make public the details of the facilities and funds allegedly provided by JAL to the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) headed by Anurag Thakur, son of chief minister.
