The services of suspended Health Director of Madhya Pradesh Dr Yogiraj Sharma were terminated today by the state government in the wake of alleged irregularities committed by him, official sources said.
He was earlier suspended from services after an Income Tax raid found that he was holding huge amount of cash and properties that were disproportionate to his known sources of income, they said.
Later, a case was also registered against him for registering an official car in his personal name through fraudulent means and misleading the local Regional Transport Office.
After an enquiry, Sharma was asked to file his reply to the charges framed against him and when he failed to do so, the government decided to terminate his services after getting nod from the State Public Service Commission, the sources said.
