Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today indicated that the suspension of two MLAs would be revoked tomorrow.

"We will take a positive decision by tomorrow," Chavan informed the Assembly, after opposition leaders demanded that the legislators' suspension be revoked.

The Opposition staged a nine-hour sit-in agitation in the House, after it was adjourned for the day yesterday, to protest what it termed as "gagging" by the state government.

MNS MLA Pravin Darekar was suspended last week over objectionable remarks in the House, while Omraje Nimbalkar (Shiv Sena) was suspended in April for trying to seize the Speaker's mace to draw attention to drought in Marathwada region.
