Shares of Suzlon rose 3 per cent today after the Suzlon Group said it has achieved 10,000 megawatt (MW) cumulative wind energy installations in India.
The stock ended the day with a gain of 3.09 per cent at Rs 15.67 on BSE. During the day, it jumped 4.14 per cent to Rs 15.83.
On NSE, it went up by 2.63 per cent to close at Rs 15.60.

On the volume front, 82.59 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and more than over two crore shares changed hands at NSE during the day.
"Suzlon's 10,000 MW of wind installation is capable of powering over 5 million households per annum and offsets 21.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emission annually which is equivalent to planting over 1,500 million trees," the company said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, with cumulative wind energy installations of over 15,500 MW worldwide, Suzlon operates across 17 countries and has over 1,700 customers across the globe.
