Shares of wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy today surged nearly 17 per cent in view of definitive pacts with Dilip Shanghvi Family and Associates (DSA) for equity investments of Rs 1,800 crore in the company.
The scrip zoomed 16.78 per cent to settle at Rs 26.80 on the BSE. During the day, it surged 19.82 per cent to Rs 27.50.
At the NSE, it jumped 15.65 per cent to end at Rs 26.60.

Stock markets were closed yesterday for a local holiday.
The company's market valuation surged Rs 2,603.41 crore in last two trading sessions after the deal.
Last week, Suzlon signed definitive pacts with DSA for equity investment of Rs 1,800 crore in the company, amounting to 23 per cent stake.
DSA also announced an open offer to acquire 26 per cent stake in Suzlon at Rs 18 per share aggregating to Rs 2,837 crore.
