Suzuki Motorcycle sales up 22.27 pc in October

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) today reported 22.27 per cent increase in its total sales at 50,148 units in October.

The company had sold 41,013 units in the same month last year, SMIPL said in a statement.

Domestic sales stood at 46,020 units in October as against 36,493 units in the same month last year, a growth of 26.1 per cent.

Exports were at 4,100 units as against 4,494 units in October last year, down 8.77 per cent.

SMIPL Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Sajeev Rajasekharan said, "Buoyed by the impressive festive- season performance, we continue to hold a positive outlook in the coming months as well."
 

The company is targetting to sell 5 lakh units this fiscal, he added.
