A former project director of Jammu and Kashmir State Aids Control Society has been booked by the State Vigilance Organisation for allegedly favouring an ineligible woman candidate get appointed in the Society four years ago.
A case has been registered against the former Project Director, JKSACS, Dr Rakesh Khajuria for appointing Priyanka to the post of Quality Manager, a post to which she was not entitled, a SVO officer said here today.
A probe conducted by the SVO into the allegations of illegal appointment in the Directorate of JKSACS by Khajuria revealed that the woman was appointed to the post without any experience.

During the probe, it was found that the employment to various posts in the Directorate of JKSACS, including that of Quality Manager (Blood Safety) were advertised in April 2012, for which eligibility criteria was B Pharma with three years experience in Blood Bank and Pharma Industry, he said.
The probe showed that the woman was only B Pharma and she had certificate of working as a lecturer in Sain Charitable Institute of Para Medical Sciences, which were not part of the eligibility criteria for the post.
