"Jet Airways provides in-flight passenger announcements in English, Hindi, as well as Gujarati....Though flights take off or land in Mumbai, the announcements are not made in Marathi," a release from the outfit said.
"There is a possibility that there are many citizens who understand only their native tongue, especially senior citizens. It is unfair for them to have to make enquiries in case of an emergency, or not understanding the in-flight instructions which may prove hazardous," it added.
