As part of the Swach Bharat initiative, Airports Authority of India has undertaken construction of 15 toilets in Government Girls schools in the district.
The project was completed at a cost of Rs 40 lakh in these schools located at a distance within 80 km of Tiruchirapalli airport.
A team of AAI engineers carried out the work and ensure timely completion of the construction and installation.
The schools taken up under this project included those at Kannivadugapatti, Mandurai, Nachampatti, Nagalapuram, Pettaivaithalai, Thayanur, Kannuthu,Edhumalai and Valanadu.
