Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today demanded a white paper on the economic situation claiming that the country is facing a financial crisis.
In a statement, he also asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to call for elections in October as the UPA government has "completely wrecked Indian policy making".
"I demand that the PMO publish a white paper on the steps he (the prime minister) has taken so far to meet the financial crisis that is looming over the country," Swamy said.
He claimed there is a "sharp" rise in the current account deficit.
