External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today called on Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott ahead of his meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi during which the two countries are expected to ink the nuclear deal.
Swaraj called on the visiting dignitary, who arrived in India on a two-day visit yesterday.
Abbott, the first Head of Government outside the leaders of SAARC nations to visit the country after the inauguration of the Modi government, said he wants to make the most of "an abundance of opportunities" for business in India.
The Australian Prime Minister has already indicated that the civil nuclear deal will be inked with India during his trip which will allow his country to supply uranium to energy -starved India.
