External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Oman from February 17 during which she will hold talks with her Omani counterpart Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah on key areas of trade and security including piracy and cyber crimes.
In her third visit to a Gulf country since assuming office, Swaraj during her two-day visit will also discuss the issues pertaining to nearly 350,000-strong Indian community there.
Describing the ties with Oman as "robust", the Spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry said the leaders will discuss key bilateral and regional issues.

Trade will be another issue that will figure prominently during Swaraj's visit to Oman. According to reports, bilateral trade between Oman and India was worth around USD 5 billion per annum, which was likely to increase to USD 6 billion during the next financial year.
