Delhiites had to sweat it out today under muggy conditions although the day temperature settled below the 35-degree mark in the national capital.
According to the MeT department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.6 degrees Celsius, which was one notch above the normal as also yesterday's reading of 33.6 degrees.
Humidity levels during the day fluctuated between 57 and 89 per cent, causing discomfort to all those who stepped out to enjoy their Sunday or for any work.

Earlier, the city woke up to a cloudy morning as the minimum settled at 26.5 degrees, which was normal for this time of the year and slightly up from the previous day's 25.4 degrees.
The national capital has not received any rain in the last two days and tomorrow's forecast only suggests that light showers may occur in some areas.
"It will be a generally cloudy day tomorrow. Light rain or thundershowers may occur in some areas," a MeT official said.
The maximum and minimum tomorrow are expected to settle, respectively, at around 35 and 27 degrees, he added.
