The 22-year-old country music star is notorious for her break-up anthems and it is quite possible that Styles may feature in one of her songs, the Daily Mail reported.
"Back in the studio. Uh oh...," tweeted Swift.
The singer and 18-year-old Styles ended their short romance following a row on the British Virgin Islands.
"They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future," a source said.
Neither Styles nor Swift have commented on reports of their split.
The American beauty has dated a string of famous men in past including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor Kennedy.
