Fifty-seven new cases of swine flu have been detected in Uttar Pradesh during the last 24 hours, taking the number of infected persons to 250, with no new death reported so far.
Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow S N S Yadav said that 51 new cases have been detected in the state capital during the last 24 hours.
Besides four patients have been detected in Meerut and one each in Rae Bareli and Unnao.

According to the health department, a total of 768 patients have been screened, of them 250 were found positive.
A maximum of 198 patients have been detected in Lucknow.
A total of 17 districts of the state are affected with the disease, it said.
Earlier, Swatantra Saxena, a merchant navy official, a retired Army officer and the wife of a retired jawan have died of the disease.
Besides these three, one death each was reported from Kanpur, Saharanur and Bareilly districts.
The Centre had yesterday assured Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav all assistance to deal with the disease.
