Swine flu claims 391 lives in Rajasthan

391 people have died of swine flu in Rajasthan this year so far, a report by the state medical and health department stated today.

Of these, 12 people were residents of other states who were undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Rajasthan.

Jaipur reported maximum deaths, 76, due to H1N1 virus, followed by Ajmer and Jodhpur where 42 and 33 people died respectively from January 1 to March 17, the report stated.

Of the 20,447 samples collected in the state, 6,268 were found positive.
