Swiss Arabian Perfumes expands ERP deal with Sundaram Infotech

Swiss Arabian Perfumes Group has expanded its ERP deal with city-based Sundaram Infotech Solutions Ltd, the IT subsidiary of non-banking finance company Sundaram Finance, to two more countries.

During the last quarter, Sundaram Infotech implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP (enterprise resource planning) for the Perfumes Group in the United Arab Emirates.

"The new expanded ERP engagement will cover Oman and Saudi Arabia. As part of this deal, Sundaram Infotech will provide a wide range of solutions covering multiple verticals using Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP", Sundaram Infotech said in a statement.

Swiss Arabian Perfumes Group has four manufacturing facilities producing over 30 million units of perfumes annually for customers based in 80 countries.
 

The deal would include complete back office configuration for two companies and 13 outlets for Swiss Arabian Trading KSA in Saudi Arabia and for three companies and 10 outlets including point of sale rollout for Swiss Arabian Trading in Oman, it said.

"Sundaram Infotech will roll out the SAPG DAX Core design for these two countries (under the deal), starting from September 2014. This is expected to be completed by end of this year", it said.

Sundaram Infotech would provide onsite ERP implementation and support at SAPG in the Middle East. Sundaram Infotech, Sharjah would also provide on-call support with additional remote support from India, the statement added.
