The community water filter has a capacity to filter 100 lakh litres, director of Vestergaard Satish Kumar told reporters here.
He said the company would talk to the state government for support in popularising the items in Bihar. Subsequently, the products would be placed in the open market for sale.
Kumar claimed that the long-lasting insecticidal bed nets are considered by experts as one of the best defences against vector-borne diseases like dengue and malaria which claims lives heavy toll of lives.
He said the ready-to-use bed net is easy to hang and requires no repeat intervention for a period of at least three years.
