Ahmedabad-based air cooler company Symphony Ltd today reported an increase of 19.16 per cent in its standalone net profit at Rs 50.67 crore for the second quarter ended September 31, 2017.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 42.52 crore in the July-September quarter a year ago, Symphony said in a BSE filing.
Symphony's total revenue during the quarter under review was up 21.88 per cent to Rs 194.68 crore as against Rs 159.73 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

Its total expenses were up 22.17 per cent to Rs 121.83 crore as against Rs 99.72 crore.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing Symphony informed that its board today declared an interim dividend of Re 1 per equity share having face value of Rs 2 each.
Shares of Symphony today settled at 1,460 on the BSE, up 3.30 per cent from previous close.
